Résumé

During the more than thirty years that French women have had the right to vote, periodic surveys have shown that in the political domain their behavior is different from that of men. They are less often interested in politics, they turn out less frequently to vote, and when they do vote, they are less likely to favor candidates of the left. Although the differences recorded today between the political behavior of men and women seem less than during the 1950's, they are still quite considerable.
