Les débats contemporains sur « la fin des États »

Abstract : Contemporary Debates on the “End of States”
The theme of the “end of states” provoked vigorous debates in academic circles in the 1970s and at the end of the Cold War, debates that have developed further since September 11, 2001, the 2008 economic crisis, Brexit, and the victory of Donald Trump. An examination of these debates through three prisms – strategic, economic, and morphological – reveals that the opposition between the disappearance and resistance of states is largely sterile.
