Джама‘ат ат-Таблиг и возрождение религиозных связей Центральной Азии с Индийским субконтинентом

Abstract : The present paper describes the activities of the Jamaat al Tabligh throughout Central Asia. The mission undertaken by the Islamic group falls within the scope of the larger historical and religious ties between India and Central Asia as well as within the scope of other foreign Islamic influences in the region. Three movements are the most involved in these exchanges : the Naqshibendiyya, the Ahmadiyya and the Jamaat al Tabligh. The author analysed the actions of the JT in each Central Asian state, provided an analysis of its functioning and relations with other Islamic groups. He also described how the JT disciples from Central Asia relate to their fellow community members in India. The author assumes that, despite the fact that the JT was not among the first Indian and Pakistani based Islamic movements to implement in Central Asia, they are the ones who played the major role in the réislamization process of Central Asian societies.
