Abstract

France The Constitution should have been amended for its 60th anniversary, but that was postponed due to political circumstances. Meanwhile, the Constitutional Council upheld the applicability of the maxim “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.” Ensuring the the protection of personnal data, it clarified relations between domestic and supranational norms.
