Was there an Obama Doctrine? Some Preliminary Reflections on the Foreign Policy of Barack Obama

Abstract : This volume is the final product of the congress that took place in Milan at the end of October 2016, in collaboration with the Consulate General of United States of America. Italy s Public Comparative and European Law Association (DPCE) wanted to study the evolution of the presidential role during the eight years Barack Obama was in his office, organizing a seminar where a group of Italian scholars would focus on different profiles of the Presidency as a governmental institution.
