Behind the Globalized “New Anti-Racism”
Abstract
In the following interview, Pierre-André Taguieff, philosopher and historian of ideas, analyzes for Valeurs Actuelles what he calls the “ideological corruption of anti-racism” and its consequences. His new book on
this topic, L’imposture décoloniale: Science imaginaire et pseudo-antiracisme (Paris: Éditions de l’Observatoire/Humensis), was just published in October. An abridged version of this interview previously appeared in Valeurs Actuelles on July 7, 2020, under the title “Comment le ‘nouvel antiracisme’ a banalisé le racisme anti-blanc.” The interview was conducted by Bastien Lejeune and is published here by permission of Pierre-André Taguieff.
