L’évolution du vote des femmes

Abstract : French women, who were granted the right to vote in 1944 only, have eventually become full citizens through three stages, training, take off and autonomy. Today their turn out in elections is similar to that of men and they vote for the left wing parties in the same proportion. This evolution can be explained by the sociological and cultural changes which have modified the status of women in the more recent period.
