Le travailleur de l’automobile au cinéma. Montage-remontage d’un personnage pluriel

Abstract : As commercial films, fictional films, documentaries or activist films on automobile factories and their workers, all lend themselves to the critical analysis of their changing and mobile points of view. The body of work collected by these authors is approached by way of a triple thematic: trade skills that were activated by manufacturing, film techniques used to represent different practical aspects of labour (work rhythms, on-the-job injury, agility, attachment to one’s work), and the multiple identities of men and women workers.
