Quelle armée pour quelle défense ?

Abstract : De Gaulle’s military policy was the product of the General’s rich experience. It also resulted from the combination between constraints (the Cold War and the Algerian War) and the desire of the head of state to move out of the Atlantic Pact and to acquire nuclear weapons that would become diplomatic and political tools at the service of national independence.
