An Invisible Revolution: the New Dry Whites of Bordeaux

Abstract : We tend to think of the pace of change in Bordeaux as glacial. The reputation of properties, of course, rises and falls but that has never been a very rapid process. And it is not made any more rapid by the moderating influence of a system of classification which dates back, in the case of the Médoc, to 1855. Stability, it seems, is hard-wired.
