Valoriser les données d’enquêtes qualitatives en sciences sociales : le cas français de la banque d’enquête beQuali : Les données et les sciences de l’information

Abstract : The scientific goal that led to the creation of the qualitative investigation bank, beQuali, at the Centre de données socio-politiques (CDSP) in 2011 was the reuse of qualitative research materials in the social sciences to produce new research and to teach the methods. This paper outlines how the beQuali team addressed this issue. Each stage of the work is described in detail—from the collection of archives to the exploration of text corpuses on the website. The paper also explains the issues that preceded the implementation of beQuali and the different methods used to construct and operate the equipment as it exists today.
