Activist research in formal settlements of emergency housing in Rome during the Covid‑19 lockdown reveals how such settlements struggle with public health concerns and access to food, among other deprivations, and underscores the need for emergency interventions.

Des recherches menées à Rome par des militants pendant le confinement lié au Covid-19 révèlent à quel point les « villages » d’hébergement pour Roms sont aux prises avec des problèmes de santé publique et d’accès à la nourriture, entre autres pénuries, et soulignent la nécessité d’intervenir d’urgence.
