Abbott et la micro-histoire : Lecture croisée

Abstract : This chapter discusses little-acknowledged similarities between the approach of research promoted by Andrew Abbott and that of Italian and French micro-history - and assesses why these similarities have been so little discussed. It focuses on the notion of experiment in sociology and history, the attention paid by those authors to style and narrative and their relationship with models/formalization.
